At the Dentist

About Us

We are a small family practice that caters primarily for very nervous people. We provide a professional, caring service in a very relaxed and informal setting. We provide a range of services including dental implants, we also work with carefully selected local specialists to provide specialist services not available from us.

Old Forge House has been set up as an independent clinic in the centre of Mickleover since 2005. Our main aim is to provide the best service we can to those who really do not like going to see their dentist. Our practice is cosy and warm with all the latest gadgets and equipment. We are very much a family dentist doing only the things we can do very well. We work in collaboration with a few carefully selected local surgeries who provide specialist services and clients can always be assured that these people will look after them in the same way we would do if we were to provide the service.

We have made many friends over the years, establishing a very loyal client base and we always manage to have a good laugh during the visit. Many of them are still nervous but they know that they are in good hands and that I will do my best, as I understand how they feel.

"I have used this dental surgery over many years and after returning after 4 years the service, technology and treatments are second to none. Service is fantastic and reception staff are extremely welcoming and helpful"

Meet The Team

Your Dentist
Mr. Eldrige Cunningham

I graduated from the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town South Africa in 1997. I set up this surgery in 2005 and have made many friends since then.

If you are nervous then I am the dentist you need because, I care, I'm gentle and I'm kind. I value the privilege to be a dentist and the trust you place in me.

I promise to do my best at all times, to be friendly at all times and to always greet you with a smile.

Above all, I promise to always have your best interest as my only priority.

Your Dental Nurse

I'm originally from Zimbabwe and moved to England in 2003.

Since then I have gained my qualifications and experience in dental nursing and other areas of health and social care.

I have worked with Eldridge since 2013 and I am proud to have been able to work with him gaining an array of skills in all aspects of dentistry along the way.
